Gym consistency

Prove you went
to the gym.

FitBound sets an unmissable alarm on the days you train, then keeps coming back until you show a photo of yourself at the gym. No points. No badges. Just a record of whether you went.

How it works

Three things happen.

  1. Sun 20:00

    Set your days

Pick the days you train and the time you want to be there. That's the whole setup.

  2. Mon 06:00

    The alarm fires

A real alarm, not a notification. It goes off through Silent and Focus, and it comes back roughly every hour until you deal with it.

  3. Mon 06:14

    Show where you are

Take a photo at the gym. It's checked automatically, and the day is marked done. Nothing else clears it.

What builds up.

Every scheduled day ends as verified or missed — there is no third option and nothing to tidy up afterwards. The record is the part that changes behaviour, so the app never hides a bad week.

Accountability

Someone finds out when you skip.

An alarm only works if ignoring it costs you something. So add the people who’d give you a hard time — a training partner, your brother, the friend who talks about the gym constantly.

When you miss a scheduled day, they get a notification saying so, with your name on it. Not another nudge to you — a message to them. That’s the whole mechanism, and it’s harder to ignore than anything your own phone can do.

Both people have to accept before anything is shared, and you choose who to add.

What a friend sees

  • Your current streak
  • Whether today is a training day, and if you've done it
  • Days you missed recently

What you get

What it does.

Alarms that re-nag

Snoozing isn't dismissing. If you haven't shown proof, it comes back — hourly, until the day is done or over.

Photo proof

A photo taken at the gym, checked on the spot. You can't tick a box to say you went.

Streaks and history

Every scheduled day is on record as done or missed. The history is the honest part.

Friends who notice

Add people who'll hold you to it. They see your streak — and they're told when you skip.

Fair warning

This app is annoying on purpose.

Most fitness apps are pleasant to ignore. They send a notification, you swipe it away, and nothing happens. FitBound is built to be harder to ignore than that, because a reminder you can dismiss without thinking isn’t doing anything.

There are no streaks to protect for their own sake, no rewards, no encouragement. The app has one opinion: you said you’d go, so go. If that sounds unpleasant, it probably isn’t for you.

Before you install

It works differently on each platform.

Android

The alarm takes over the screen on top of the lock screen, and it stays there until you verify. This is the strict version.

iPhone

The alarm rings through Silent and Focus, but iOS always gives every alarm a Stop button, so it can be stopped. Instead it keeps returning until you prove you went. Requires iOS 26 or later.

We’d rather say this up front than have you find out after installing.

Pricing

Free for a week.

Everything is included in the 7-day trial — alarms, photo proof, streaks and friends. After that it’s a subscription, monthly or yearly.

Prices vary by country, so the exact amount in your currency is shown in the app before you’re charged. You can cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
